Pu-erh is a post-fermented tea that has undergone deep (traditional or accelerated fermentation), which involves transforming it into a product that differs from ordinary black tea in its chemical composition and beneficial properties. This is a black tea from the Chinese species tea classification. In the Ukrainian classification, it is classified as a group of black special teas. Pu-erh is the only tea that gets better with storage time. A collection of aged pu-erh is often more expensive than a collection of aged wines. Brewing: Like any tea, pu-erh requires aging in standard dosages and following several brewing rules. On average, 6 g are added to 150 ml of hot water. Rinsing is done very quickly, with boiling water, thus achieving dust removal and disinfection.
