Pu-erh is a post-fermented tea that has undergone deep (traditional or accelerated fermentation), which involves transforming it into a product that is different from ordinary black tea in its chemical composition and beneficial properties. This is black tea from the Chinese species tea classification. In the Ukrainian classification, it is classified as a group of black specialty teas.
Pu-erh is the only tea that gets better with storage time. A collection of aged pu-erhs is often more expensive than a collection of aged wines. To reveal a wide range of flavors, we recommend brewing it in infusions, as Chinese tea masters do. Put 3-4 g of leaves in 100-150 ml. Drain the first infusion after 3-5 seconds, use it to rinse the tea. Then infuse the tea 7-15 times in 90ᴼC water for 10-60 seconds. Drink in small portions, slowly savoring each sip.
Tea is delicious on its own. You can enjoy it without sugar or any additives. Liu Bao will be a good companion to meat snacks, cheese slices, and various desserts.
